I’m very proud of my son, Sam, for his accomplishments during his internship at Swedbank Estonia in the 2022/2023 academic year.

As a second-year student at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, majoring in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Entrepreneurship, Sam has shown remarkable initiative and leadership. Reading the feedback made me think that while LinkedIn is predominantly a domain for entrepreneurs, attracting young minds is important. Their fresh perspectives are essential in our rapidly evolving world.

Highlights from Sam’s Internship review :

• Sam’s ability to articulate his thoughts and actively contribute during meetings was remarkable. He was always ready to share his ideas and insights boldly.
• His role in organizing the Youth Banking Innovation Day in August was a standout contribution. Sam successfully rallied numerous Swedbank interns to develop a community model for youth-oriented investing. This event showcased his initiative and leadership skills.
• Over the summer, Sam visited the Kärdla and Kuressaare branches to gain deeper insights into customer needs and service processes. This involved interacting with both frontline and backend teams at Swedbank.
• Sam’s creative ideas significantly impacted the ISIC Campaign, visible in urban spaces and digital media. His ability to think outside the box brought a fresh perspective to the company’s marketing strategies.
• Sam encouraged businesses in international media to involve youth in their activities. He co-authored an article titled “How to Involve Youth in Large Corporations?” highlighting the company’s efforts in engaging young people and shaping its reputation.
• Sam was active in writing and participating in podcasts, explaining investment and adulting to young people in a relatable way. His insights into savings challenges resonated well with the youth, demonstrating his desire to share knowledge and experience.
